Accountants Love Fashion too, You Know

I was watching Jane by Design on StarWorld and immediately took notice of Jane’s turquoise blazer. Then, I thought to myself, how can I incorporate my extreme love for fashion in my future career. I then remembered what my friend (Claire) told me once.

She said that our Accounting teacher told them once that clothes are accountants’ investments since we need to look respectable and trustworthy in front of our clients.

From that conversation, I realized how my sophisticated style would help me build a better image for me and my future career. Now, I have a way to blend my career and my hobby. My friends see me as this person who doesn’t really care what to wear as long as she’s covered, she’s fine. But no, maturity brought along a better sense of fashion for me. I may not be able to buy the clothes I want but I can still incorporate my style on the things I already have.

Yet I swear to myself that once I can provide for my own stuff, I will be unstoppable. I will really buy all ze clothes I want.

So to my fellow Accountancy students, let us first study hard now and become amazing, intelligent and fabulous accountants in the future.
